Blogging for a Cause...a Yoga Bear Cause!

It’s not everyday that we can simply blog and have it be for good but today is definitely one of those days. Zemanta is giving away $6000 split between five charitable causes that gets blogged about the most. We have until the end of the day on June 6th (Midnight GMT) to blog for a cause, lets help Yoga Bear be the recipient of some of that $$$. =)

As a play off of the iconic cartoon Yogi Bear, Yoga Bear was founded in December of 2006 in San Francisco, CA. Yoga Bear's main objective is spreading the gospel about how cancer patients and survivors can compliment their treatment and recovery through the practice of yoga. Yoga Bear facilitates this in a numbers of ways. One such way was by organizing a day in the park with free yoga lessons and another is their on-going connecting of cancer patients with local yoga classes, again free of charge.

Since their founding, Yoga Bear has become a national 501(c)3 non-profit organization and now operates in 22 states throughout the US. They might even be working on growing internationally as well, (stay tune for that.) So please help us reblog about Yoga Bear, all the good they have to offer and hopefully, we all can do some good!
